These girls are the Dams and future Dams which produce the Alki Litters.  Most are Champions or future Champions...Most have a minimum of 3 and as many as 5 clearances.  Each one must be healthy, stable tempered, good conformation and not be effected by genetic defect.  Not one will be used in breeding if effected by OCD, Bloat, Torsion, Dysplasia or Epilepsy. These are some of the concerns in this breed and they all carry these genetics to some degree. If any of these concerns manifest or surgically correction is required for any genetic problem, that individual is spayed. Each breeding is planned after those individuals have been tested for their adult clearances, after the age of 2 years.  Each year, new hopefuls will be added to this page, as those retiring or effected will be removed.  All significant and loved.

Keke is an energetic, friendly, worker. She is willing to go and do anything you want. Her show career was placed on hold when Romeo, the talented, flipped the latch on the gate and had his way with her…resulting in 7 pups. It was a good match and later was thrilled. One of those pups, Ben, won WD/BOWs at the ’04 GSMDCA Western Regional Specialty for a 5 pt. major at 10 months old.

Keke was shown the summer of '05, earned 14 points towards her Championship, including both majors. She just needs one point to finish her Championship.  I'm so proud of her, she so happy. No matter what you're doing, she's participating and wagging.

We hadn't been to a show since September '05, so we were a bit rusty, but She finally got her last point at Seattle Kennel Club on Sunday this March, 2006.   After floundering around on Saturday, Sunday she won Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and BEST OF BREED!  I'm mighty proud of her.  She's always happy...but that Sunday, she was extra happy.

Keke, always smiling, always happy. 2-10-05

Molly is a confident, strong and healthy girl.  She possesses qualities that are essential in maintaining working instinct and structure in the breed.  She attended her first AKC all- breed dog show in early June '04 at Clackamas Kennel Club in Canby, OR taking Winners Bitch for a 5 pt major win.  In the following 7 weeks, she earned all but 4 pts.  She took Reserve Winners Bitch to 5 pt. majors both days over the GSMDCA Western Regional Specialty weekend. If she had won only one of those Winners Bitch points that weekend, she would be finished Champion in only 7 weeks.

Molly finished her Championship the first day of the Portland 'Rose City Cluster' shows in January winning Winners Bitch for a 4 pt major and Best of Winners keeping the 4 pts.  At the same shows, her litterbrother, Elvis, won Winners Dog all three days and Best of Winners the other two days earning two 4 pt majors with a total of 10 pts for the weekend.

I think that Molly is a fabulous girl.  She's a great mover, balanced structure and she thinks a lot of good things about herself.  She's my 'creme de la creme' daughter of Java. Showing all the ring confidence of Parents and Grandparents.

OFA gave her OFA Good Hips, Elbows normal, Patellas normal and Shoulders normal.  With her current CERF...she's ready for the 'big date' with her intended soon.

She's home and doing well now. She's back up to 108 lbs, happy, going places and enjoying life.

May, 08 - I'm still hoping Scott registers the 2nd litter and does right by those owners. I've talked with a few of the 2nd litter owners who've contacted me for their papers. I'm so happy that those puppies are well loved, happy and in caring homes.

February, 08 - I was awarded her return by court order in just a few minutes.  She was 12-14 lbs underweight, desperate for food and water, ribs and hip bones jutting out...but fit enough for travel. When the constable of the court witnessed her surrender to me, she came with a rusty 1 lb coffee can of kibble and her stinky collar. He kept her 500 flight crate. The entire trip cost me over $1300 but was well worth it. The remaining claims will be resolved in court on June 12th in Indianapolis...unless he chooses to come to any agreement with me to resolve or dissolve the remaining difficulties.

December, 07 - Too many failed attempts to resolve our difficulties, any of our difficulties.  I've filed in small claims and the court date is set for February 12, 2008.

Oct, 07 - Well, he refuses to release her or return her. His threats are fueling my insistence for her return. He has failed to do anything as contractual agreed or promised in writing.  That includes paying the full stud fee and registering the 2nd litter of puppies, sending the lease fee puppy, repaying personal loans to me and, now, communicating her well being, the conditions of her puppies and their owners names.  I will be filing in small claims court in Indianapolis if he continues to refuse to release her to me.

Sept, '07 - Nominee has been on a lease in Indianapolis for the last 2 years and the lease is over.  She's had 2 litters while she was with Scott Ferrell.  Thanks Scott for promising to send her back, as promised.

She has many friends and family here in the Seattle area. Her father, Nick, and littersister, Maggie, as well as all her nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles are wanting to spend long afternoons running on the beach and long walks in the forest with her.  No matter how much they want to spend the time with her, no one wants it more than I do.  She's my Lily daughter and she's been a friend of mine since before she was born...and she's the keeper of a part of my heart, the part that's right next to Lily's.

I welcome communication from her puppies and their owners.  Don't be strangers. Nominee will want to hear from you all and often. We're all family, ya know.

March '05, She's a Spunky, vocal and participating show girl now.  She's a big girl, fluid running gear and hard topline but she's still very juvenile and has a long way to go before fully matured.  Nice head, medium bone, good outer coat with less undercoat and pretty markings. At home, she's a brat, jumping up, vocalizing her demands to be admired as the best one when visitors arrive.  I have high hopes for Nominee and all the years to come.

Look out, World...here she comes.
