He's a wonderful boy by Jasper out of Java.  Elvis' began his show career this January by winning Reserve Winners Dog both Saturday  and Sunday to majors in boys in Puyallup, WA.  Elvis' second weekend he was entered at the Rose City Cluster in Portland, OR the next weekend and he won Winners Dog all three days for  2,3 and 3 points and then going on to win Best of Winners both Saturday and Sunday to increase his points to 4 points for those days.  So, he won a total of 10 points with (2) 4 pt majors going Best of Winners over the 4pt major in Bitches. He only needs 5 single points to finish his championship.  Way to go, Elvis.  Regardless of his good looks and great movement, he greatest strength is loving his family and seeing to it that Michele, Chris and his new baby, Lukas, are happy and safe.  Of course, he has a good time playing with all the Alki kids when he visits here at the house...and they enjoy him right back.

Final!!  Elvis finished his Championship in 7 shows, 5 consecutive wins, the last 4 were major wins...He finished at Seattle KC on 3-13-05, one day after his 2nd birthday. The next day was off to the Vets for clearance x-rays.  You can see what happened.

NEW CHAMPION, He earned a point at Seattle KC winning WD on March 17th. He won Winners Dog and Best of Opposite Sex for another point at  Peninsula Dog Fanciers in Bremerton, WA on March 25th.  The following day, he earned 2 pts to finish his Championship winning Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex.

Otto had 12 points and 3 majors when he arrived in the NW.  He sired a litter with Orca on 12-29-05.  The 7 puppies produced in this litter, I believe, are among the best produced here.  They are what I breed to produce.

He's mild, participating and extremely sound.  He's enjoying his life here and we are enjoying him.

Thanks Cindy and Maria for letting him be part of our lives.

Romeo is a great family dog, show dog and producer.  Ben and Orca are his kids out of Keke.  Ben completed 1/2 his championship in 3 weekends.  Romeo went to his first show when he was 17 months old.  He finished his Championship in 5 shows undefeated, in 7 shows he was 13th in the country (and that was July).  He took 1st Award of Merit at the 2001 Western Regional Specialty, Best of Breed the day after the 2002 local specialty with the same competition.  He is wonderful with his family and gets along well with other dogs.  He is wired like his mother, Lily.  He will turn away if challenged by another male, and turn away...but will be very loud if he feels that he absolutely must protect himself.  He is 135 pounds, good bone, beautiful head, fluid side gait motion.   He is long in the loin, but puts his feet down nicely.  All in all, I think he is a very nice dog.

Beau is one of the nicest boys around.  I call him a 'Human in a dog suit'.  He is fun loving, gets along very well with all dogs and people.  Outgoing, stable, participating.  He is a moderate dog at 120lbs, good bone, good mover and biddable.  He finished his Championship with 4 majors, then won Best of Opposite Sex at the 2004 GSMDCA Western Regional Specialty with a ring full of Specials attending.  He is the product of a repeat breeding via frozen semen (litter of 4).  His Father, Boone, was a litterbrother to Patrick. Patrick and Boone were the oldest of their litter of 11, surviving until nearly 12 years of age.  His full sibs from the older litter include CH Alki's Black Twig Tucker HD, DD, CGC, TT, CH Alki's Apple of my Eye 'Gala', CH Alki's York Imperial Bailey, Red (he's a fireman's dog and very popular) and Apple.  He and his 2 litter sisters all came back OFA Good, Elbows, Shoulders, Patellas and Eyes.

He is totally ready.  Bring it on, Life!

He finished his Championship with back to back 5 pt. majors over a local specialty weekend in June, 2003. He is a healthy, active family member within his household.  Confident about most everything except the bedside table lamp, which sometimes seems to move on it's own when he is in the small area. Going to the park or for neighborhood walks once daily, Nick and Hilda are recognized members of the community 'watch'.  He is an asset to the Alki Breeding program, having healthy parents and coming from an East Coast Kennel and bringing pedigree and genetics which will help strengthen health, clearances, soundness and longevity within Alki Swissy. He sired a wonderful litter of 6 pups out of my Lovely Lily on January 27, 2004. Nick loves his family, John Tremain, Kim Schnuelle and Devon and Hilda, the Irrepressible (who's in full retirement but doesn't know it).

So, what cha eating Devon?

Heimdall was finished with his championship before he was 1 yr.  Two weekends later, he won a 1st Award of Merit to his father's Best of Breed at a local specialty with a large entry. His Father is 2 x BISS Ch. Alki's Black Twig Tucker JHD, DD who is one of only a handful of Greater Swiss to ever win a Group One at an AKC All-Breed Dog Show. His mother was my favorite, Lily.  He is a beautiful blend of his parents.  He is 3 years old now and 'one really big dog'.  He is bigger than his father and still robust and athletic.  He is soundness in motion.  He's pulling carts, tracking and taking care of the homestead.  He sired 6 beautiful male pups, out of CH Pearl, and then re-enters the show ring to win Best of Breed on Sunday at the Rose City Cluster in Portland, OR with a large entry.  This is one big and beautiful CH male...clearances, type and temperament completely appropriate for the breed.

His son, Booker, is growing up in the Seattle area and we anticipate a bright future for him.  With several generations of well known Champions behind him and a loving home to preserve his good temperament...how can Booker go wrong.
